My Productivity System in 2026
After years of experimenting, I've settled on a simple system: weekly reviews, daily priorities, and a single trusted capture tool.
The Core Principle
The best productivity system is the one you actually use. After trying GTD, Zettelkasten, and every todo app available, I came back to something embarrassingly simple.
The Weekly Review
Every Sunday I spend 30 minutes asking three questions:
- What happened last week that I didn't plan for?
- What didn't get done and why?
- What are the 3 most important things next week?
The Daily 3
Each morning I pick 3 tasks that, if completed, would make the day a success. Everything else is a bonus.
Capture System
I use a single notes app for everything: shower thoughts, project ideas, meeting notes. The important thing is that the capture is frictionless.
